Luca and Aubrie are good friends whose interests overlap in urban ecology and community learning and growth.

Aubrie James, PhD is a nondisciplinary ecologist whose practice spans science and art. She holds a B.S. in Animal Ecology from Iowa State University, a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Cornell University, and a Masters of Science in Art, Culture, and Technology from MIT.

Luca Senise is an architect and artist who explores the relationship between craft and the city. His multi-faceted practice includes woodworking, ceramics, architectural proposals, and direct urban intervention. He has a B.Arch from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Masters of Science in Art, Culture, and Technology from MIT.
